Players don't have to do anything
No app on their phone, nothing to charge, nothing to remember. One device, one instruction: plug it in near the bed.
It cannot watch or listen
There is no camera. Sound never leaves the device as audio, only as a loudness number, so it measures how loud a room is and never what is said in it.
It works in any home
Every device brings its own connection. The player's wifi is never involved, and nobody has to set anything up.
