The questions we get first.
Do the devices need wifi?
No. Every device carries its own cellular connection, so it works the moment it has power, in any hotel and any country the season goes to. Hotel wifi never enters the picture, and nobody on your staff has to ask a front desk for a network password.
Do players have to install an app?
No. There is no app to pair, no account to create in the room and nothing to charge. Each player gets one device and one instruction: plug it in near the bed. It reads the room, not the person.
What does TOP measure in a room?
Eight conditions: carbon dioxide, temperature, humidity, light, noise, fine particulates, VOCs and nitrogen dioxide. Each is tracked around the clock in every room your athletes sleep in, and flagged when it drifts outside the optimal band your staff has set for it.
Can TOP record audio or video?
No. There is no camera. The microphone reduces sound to a single loudness number on the device itself, so audio is never recorded, stored or transmitted. TOP measures how loud a room is, never what is said in it.
Does it work in hotels on the road?
That is what it is built for. Devices travel in the kit bag already assigned to rooms. At the hotel your kit manager walks the corridor once, plugs one in per room, and every room is live on the dashboard before the team lands.
How long does it take to set up a floor of hotel rooms?
One plug per room, with nothing to configure at the hotel. One kit manager can prepare tens of rooms in a single walk down the corridor. Checkout is the same walk in reverse: unplug them and drop them back in the tray for the next city.
Who on a team uses TOP?
Three roles share one dashboard: the Head of Performance, who owns training load and recovery; the head athletic trainer and medical staff, who own availability; and team operations, who prep the traveling party and set the rooms up on arrival.
